The Grizzlies fell to 1-1 on the preseason after suffering a 104-83 loss to the Atlanta Hawks Thursday at FedExForum.
D.J. Stephens led the Grizzlies with 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds to go with four steals. Troy Williams (15) tied a game-high and led the Grizzlies in scoring. Zach Randolph (10) also scored in double figures in 15 minutes off the bench. Rookie Wade Baldwin followed up his 15-point debut performance with seven points, four assists and three rebounds while getting the start.
Memphis struggled in the paint, with the Hawks owning significant advantages in rebounding (53-36) and points in the paint (52-34).
