The Memphis Grizzlies won the first of a three-game home stand by defeating the Sacramento Kings 107-91 Friday at FedExForum. It was the third matchup of the season between the clubs, and the Grizzlies now hold a 2-1 advantage in the season series.
The Grizzlies won on the strength of a huge second quarter, outscoring the Kings 34-19 to take a seven-point lead into halftime after trailing by eight and scoring just 15 points by the end of the first period.
Memphis then further sealed the deal and extended their lead to 19 by ending the third quarter on a 12-2 run.
