Grizzlies clip Nets on Halloween, 101-91

A solid, all-around team performance helped Memphis to defeat the Brooklyn Nets 101-91 on Saturday night at FedExForum, marking the team’s first home victory in the 2015-16 campaign.

With tonight’s win, the Grizzlies move to 2-1 in the regular season and break even at 4-4 all-time in games played on Halloween Night, while the Nets move to 0-3 on their regular season slate.

Memphis hit nine three-pointers during the game, while holding Brooklyn to just three, with none in the first half (0-for-6), which gave the Grizzlies an 18-point edge in the category. The Grizzlies are 33-5 since the beginning of the 2011-12 season when making eight or more from the beyond the arc and 58-7 since the start of the 2013-14 season when scoring at least 100 points.
