With eight-tenths of a second remaining, Jeff Green rose above the rim to receive an alley-oop off of a Courtney Lee inbounds, lifting the Memphis Grizzlies to a 95-93 win at FedExForum on Sunday afternoon.
The play was reminiscent of the Vince Carter to Lee inbounds with three-tenths of a second remaining against the Sacramento Kings from last season, and was the second Grizzlies game-winning bucket with under three seconds left this season (Zach Randolph against Portland on Nov. 13).
The final minute and a half of the game saw the Suns battle back from a six-point deficit to tie the game at 93 on a put-back layup from Alex Len with 11.
