Clippers take win in LA

The Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, 115-106, Wednesday night at STAPLES Center. The Grizzlies are now 8-2 on the second night of a back-to-back this season.

The game was tight through the midway point of the second quarter with neither team leading by more than five during that span. However, after the Clippers took a 40-37 lead with 7:24 remaining in the second period, Memphis outscored Los Angeles 23-7 over the next 5:45. The run resulted in a 10-point halftime lead for the Grizzlies.

The third quarter wasn’t as kind to the Grizzlies as the Clippers quickly erased the lead and gained a 36-22 advantage for that period.
