December 15th is a date that does not mean much to most, but in 2018 for the Memphis Grizzlies, it could come with some significance.
This day will mark the opening of the NBA trade market for players that signed free-agent deals a few months ago in the offseason. For instance, this is the opening date that Memphis could deal newcomers Shelvin Mack, Omri Casspi, and Kyle Anderson if they wanted to do so.
On paper, the Memphis Grizzlies’ roster was in dire need of frontcourt assistance and insurance, but help arrived via the signing of center Joakim Noah.
