Maryland women's basketball will begin the Women's NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed in the Lexington Region. The Terps are looking to reach their third straight Final Four, and begin their quest against No. 15 seed Iona at 1:30 this Saturday.
Notre Dame is the top seed in the region. Should the two teams meet, it will be next weekend in South Bend. But, first the Terps' will have to get past the Iona Killians. A win will net them either No. 7 Washington or No. 10 Pennsylvania.
Other teams in the region include Kentucky, Oklahoma, Purdue and Miami.
