Maryland football has added another top recruit to an already impressive 2016 class, as 4-star DeMatha guard Terrance Davis announced his verbal commitment to the Terps during the first quarter of the Under Armour All-America Game on Saturday.
He confirmed the decision on Twitter moments later.
Davis is the No. 1 player in the state of Maryland, and is the second-rated guard in the country, according to 247 Sports. His commitment gives Maryland three of the top five players in the state, with No. 3, Bullis quarterback Dwayne Haskins, and No. 4, Good Counsel linebacker Keandre Jones, also committed to the Terps.
