Terps' Damonte Dodd out at least 3 games with knee injury

The Maryland men’s basketball team will be without senior center Damonte Dodd for at least the next three games because of a knee injury, a team spokesman said.

A few hours before the Terps were to play Howard at Xfinity Center, it was announced that Dodd suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament sprain in his left knee after bumping the knee in practice Monday.

It was also announced that redshirt sophomore Ivan Bender, who has been used both at center and power forward, will return after missing Saturday’s 71-70 win over Oklahoma State with a bruised knee.
