Old Dominion hires Maryland’s Bryan Stinespring as tight ends coach, per report

Former Maryland offensive line coach Bryan Stinespring will become the tight ends coach/run game coordinator at Old Dominion, according to The Athletic’s Chris Vannini ($).

Stinespring spent just one year at Maryland, helping the Terps finish third in the Big Ten in rushing yards per game. Redshirt freshman Anthony McFarland also set the freshman record for rushing yards in a season.

However. Maryland’s offensive line performance fluctuated wildly from week-to-week, dominating weaker opponents while struggling against better teams. The Terps’ offensive line battled injuries as well, with Derwin Gray, Damian Prince, Johnny Jordan and Marcus Minor all missing games this season.
