Maryland football has landed its first incoming transfer, with former Nebraska wide receiver Marcus Fleming announcing his decision Monday.
Fleming tallied all 75 yards and five catches of his freshman season against Northwestern in 2020, one of his two appearances before leaving the program in late-November.
As part of the Class of 2020, Fleming was listed as a top-300 recruit and the No. 42 wide receiver and No. 43 player out of Florida, according to the 24/7 Sports Composite.
The original race for Fleming ultimately came down between Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Maryland and Nebraska, with the two Big Ten schools having the most pull.
