Maryland football commenced its preseason training camp Wednesday in preparation for its season opener against FAU on Aug. 30.
Head coach Michael Locksley also addressed the media. When asked about his Big Ten Media Day press conference and losing the locker room in 2024, his response indicated a strong focus on the future.
“Anything and everything that took place a year ago, we’ve ripped off the rearview mirror,” Locksley said. “It’s moving forward only.”
Still, Locksley reflected on the tumultuous 2024 campaign and the contemporary NIL landscape he continues to navigate.
“As the [college football] landscape has continued to evolve, we just have to be ready to pivot,” Locksley said.
