Maryland women’s lacrosse will be returning a key defender for next season. The team announced via social media that senior defender Tori Barretta will be returning next season.
“I am so thankful for the opportunity to play for this university, these coaches and with all my teammates for another year,” Barretta said. “I cannot wait to see what next year has in store for us and am excited to be back in College Park!”
Barretta had a breakout season this past year. She finished the season with 25 groundballs and tied for second on the team with 19 caused turnovers.
