Maryland men’s basketball will take on the Florida Gators in the second annual Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.
The Terps are 1-2 all-time against the Gators. Their last meeting came in 2003 when Florida was the No. 1 team in the nation and Maryland upset the Gators 69-68 in overtime.
“We are looking forward to returning to Brooklyn to play in this year’s Hall of Fame Invitational,” said head coach Mark Turgeon in a press release. “We have an incredible fanbase in the New York City region and always enjoy having the opportunity to showcase our program.
