Maryland women’s basketball freshman forward Angel Reese has accepted an invitation to attend the USA Basketball U19 World Cup Team trial on May 14-16 Metro State University in Denver, per release.
Reese is one of 27 athletes who will be attending the trials and in 2018, she was a finalist for the U17 World Cup Team.
The Baltimore native played in just 15 games out of the Terps’ 29-game slate after injuring her right foot during the home opener against Towson on Dec. 3. However, expected to be out for approximately 12 weeks, Reese made a surprise return on Feb.
