Four Maryland women’s lacrosse players received Inside Lacrosse All-American honors recognition, the organization announced Monday.

Midfielder Kori Edmondson was awarded a first-team nod just five months after being named No. 36 of the Top 50 Women’s Players in Inside Lacrosse’s preseason ranking. Edmondson finished her junior season with a 45% shooting percentage, 59 goals and 14 assists.

Freshman Kayla Gilmore, sophomore JJ Suriano and junior Neve O’Ferrall were also recognized for their play this season, earning honorable mentions. Gilmore ended her first season with the Terps with 93 draw controls. Suriano, stepping into a starting role in her second season, saved 180 total goals, stopping 49% of the shots she faced.
