Maryland track and field ended the final day of Big Ten competition with five podium finishes Sunday.
The podium finishes consisted of the men’s 4x100 and women’s 4x400 relay teams, as well as 400-meter runner Maya Valmon, 800-meter runner Eric Albright and triple jumper Tolu Akinduro.
The men’s 4X100 squad finished in eighth place while the women’s 4X400 squad posted the third-best time in program history and finished sixth overall. Valmon finished in eighth place with a time of 53.82 seconds while Albright secured seventh place with a time of 1:49.13. Akinduro took eighth place with a 12.
