Maryland Track & Field concluded its busy weekend after competing at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
On day one, Kayla Thorpe earned a podium finish in the javelin, launching it 50.82 meters to place third. Meanwhile, Mekhi Abbott secured an eighth place finish in the javelin, throwing it 60.1 meters. Kevin Collins also ran a blazing 20.9 seconds in the 200 meter.
On day two, the Terps continued their success. Jeff Kline placed sixth in the shot put with a throw of 18.34 meters. Meanwhile, Eric Albright ran the 800 meter prelims in 1 minute, 49.
