MM 4.24: Maryland softball swept by Ohio State

Maryland softball lost all three of its games at Ohio State last weekend, bringing its losing streak against Big Ten opponents to 10 games. The Terps’ overall record dropped to 18-27, with their conference record moving to 4-13.

In Friday’s first game of the series, Maryland was shut out in a 4-0 loss. Pitcher Courtney Wyche recorded her 600th career strikeout, but allowed three runs.

The Terps cracked the scoreboard on Saturday, but their three runs weren’t enough to overcome an early deficit, as they lost, 6-3. They only threatened late, taking 5 23 innings to record a hit.
