MM 3.16: Former Terp Yannick Ngakoue agrees to terms with Las Vegas Raiders

Former Maryland pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue is heading to a new NFL team.

Ngakoue has agreed to a two-year deal worth $26 million with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to multiple reports Monday.

After being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016, this will be Ngakoue’s fourth team in only his seventh year.

Ngakoue started last season with the Minnesota Vikings before being traded halfway through the regular season to the Baltimore Ravens. Ngakoue’s stat line with both teams included four forced fumbles, eight sacks, and 11 tackles for loss.

Ngakoue reunites with his old defensive coordinator from the Jaguars, Gus Bradley, on a team that desperately needs a pass rush presence.
