MM 10.18: Former Maryland men’s soccer star Donovan Pines earns Man of the Match

D.C. United’s Donovan Pines earned the Man of the Match honor after his performance in Saturday’s home match against Nashville.

The match ended in a draw however, Pines had a strong showing. The former Maryland men’s soccer defender had the most touches with 85 and passes with 63. Pines also gained possession 10 times with 13 duels and six clearances.

D.C. United currently stands in sixth place with 41 points and is behind New England, Nashville, Philadelphia, Orlando City and Atlanta United.

Pines and the rest of the team will look to gain more points and secure a spot in the postseason.
