Maryland women's lacrosse needed a win against the below-average Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon to clinch a share of the Big Ten title. The Terps routed the Wolverines, 18-8, to ensure that they will be Big Ten champions for the second straight season.
Maryland dominated Michigan in the first half, scoring 15 goals, before coasting to the finish in the second half. The Terps were shut out for almost the final 22 minutes of the game, but Maryland's backups were playing for almost that whole stretch. There was certainly a lot to like if you're a Maryland fan.
