Maryland women’s lacrosse continues dominance with 18-11 win over Syracuse

Maryland traveled up to New York on Sunday to face off against former conference foe Syracuse. Despite a slow start brought upon by a physical Orange defense, the Terps continued their dominance, winning 18-11 in convincing fashion, and they’ve now won 22 of 23 meetings.

Senior attacker and captain Taylor Hensh had her best performance of the year thus far, pouring in four goals on just six shots. On a day where Megan Whittle was held in check, Hensh’s performance cannot be understated in its importance.

Caroline Steele had a great day of her own with six goals.
