Maryland women’s lacrosse coach Cathy Reese named to National Lacrosse Hall of Fame

Maryland women’s lacrosse head coach Cathy Reese has been selected for induction into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, US Lacrosse announced on Wednesday.

Reese joins Ryan Boyle, Charlie Coker, Kara Ariza Cooke, Rachael Becker DeCecco, former Maryland teammate Sarah Forbes, Matt Striebel, Paul Schimoler and Richard Speckmann as part of the 2019 class.

In her time as the head coach at Maryland, Reese has been nothing short of spectacular. She has led the Terps to 11 Final Fours, seven national championship games and four national championship wins. Heading into the 2019 Final Four, Reese holds a career record of 299-51 and a 268-22 record as the Terps’ head coach (with a staggering 143-2 mark at home).
