The 6th ranked Terrapins dominated their first opponent of the season at Xfinity Center Saturday afternoon.
Maryland women’s basketball is officially back. This afternoon, the 6th-ranked Terrapins opened their season in dominant fashion against UMass Lowell. From the opening tip, they outplayed the River Hawks in every aspect of the game, and when it was all said and done, the team was in the win column for the first time with a 102-53 triumph.
Senior Brene Moseley came off the bench to record a game-high 23 points and 10 assists. Junior Shatori Walker-Kimbrough notched 22, including 15 in the first quarter.
