Earlier this week, Maryland announced tighter security measures for Tuesday night's men's basketball game against Georgetown at Xfinity Center. There will also be increased security for Saturday's football game against Indiana, the school announced.
Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. for the noon game, and the senior day festivities will start at 11:45 a.m.
All fans and their belongings are subject to search. Backpacks are not allowed, and fans are permitted to bring bags no bigger than 8" by 11" by 12". Screening will occur at all gates, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
