Former Maryland soccer star Graham Zusi made headlines on Tuesday.
Zusi scored for the United States against Guatemala in a World Cup qualifier. The United States won 4-1 in a match that was played at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
The United States had lost to Guatemala last Friday by a 2-0 decision.
The ball was sent into the box and it took a very fortunate bounce off of the leg of Gyasi Zardes. Once the ball caromed off Zardes, Zusi was able to capitalize and squeeze off a shot from a high traffic area into the far corner of the net.
