In a rematch of the 2017 national title game, Maryland men’s lacrosse defeated Ohio State 10-9 in a wild overtime thriller.
It was a defensive battle for most of the game, with Maryland got out to a comfortable four goal lead in the first half, but had to weather a spirited comeback from Ohio State. The Buckeyes went on a run to begin the second half to cut the deficit to two going into the fourth quarter, and then took their first lead of the game with 3:40 remaining. But Logan Wisnauskas tied the score in the final minute, and Jared Bernhardt buried the winner in overtime.
