Maryland men’s lacrosse brings a young, talented roster into 2019

A new season begins Saturday for Maryland men’s lacrosse, as the Terps open 2019 against Bucknell at Maryland Stadium. After his team finished 14-4 and reached the national semifinals last spring, head coach John Tillman will be looking to make another run this year.

Despite several high-profile seniors graduating, the Terps have some highly ranked recruits coming in which should make for a very interesting roster. Below, we’ll take a look at what’s changed since last season at each position, and how this year’s roster shapes up.

Last season proved to be a breakout year for Jared Bernhardt, putting up 40 goals and 16 assists as a sophomore and growing into one of the team’s leaders in the process.
