The Maryland men’s basketball team has been selected to play in the 2019 AdvoCare Invitational at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida, from Nov. 28 through Dec. 1, 2019.
Maryland is joining a field of eight that includes Davidson, Fairfield, Harvard, Marquette, Temple, Texas A&M and USC.
This will be the second time that Maryland will travel down to Orlando to play in a regular season tournament. In 2008, they competed in the Old Spice Classic in Orlando. On Nov. 27, 2008, Maryland upset the No. 5 Michigan State Spartans 80-62 in the first round of the Classic.
