Maryland men’s basketball finally has a commit in the class of 2025, and it’s a big one.
Combo guard Darius Adams, a 247Sports Composite five-star prospect, announced his commitment to Maryland on Instagram Tuesday. The news was first reported by On3’s Joe Tipton.
5-star combo guard Darius Adams has committed to Maryland men’s basketball, he confirmed on social media today. Ranked No. 23 in the class of 2025, Adams is head coach Buzz Williams’ first recruit.

Adams, who stands 6-foot-5 and 165 pounds, was a McDonalds All-American at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, this past season.
