The Maryland men’s and women’s basketball teams will compete in the 2021 Baha Mar Hoops Event, a multi-team event in the Bahamas, the school announced Wednesday.
On the men’s side, the Terps will play Richmond on Nov. 25, while Louisville and Mississippi State will compete on the other side of the bracket. The championship and consolation games are scheduled for Nov. 27.
On the women’s side, Maryland’s slate is headlined by a matchup against defending national champion Stanford on Nov. 27. The Terps will also face North Carolina State, which advanced to the Sweet Sixteen, on Nov.
