The Maryland lacrosse team has had a knack of hitting their stride when the calendar has flipped to May in recent years.
With the Big Ten Tournament beginning later this week, the situation looks to be the same.
The Terrapins have won six of their last seven games and are coming off a dismantling of Johns Hopkins this past Saturday. Maryland rolled past their local rivals in a 12-5 rout.
Maryland currently possesses the ninth highest scoring offense in the country. The Terps put up 13.08 goals-per-game in just 13 games this season.
They also own a 3-1 record against the likes of Albany, Penn State, Villanova, and Yale this season.
