Maryland Lacrosse: 8-0 first half run leads Maryland past Albany

The Maryland lacrosse team has had no problem producing on the offensive end throughout the 2017 season.

In Sunday’s 18-9 NCAA Tournament win over Albany, the Terrapins used an 8-0 first half run to run past the Great Danes.

Entering Sunday’s contest, Albany owned the top scoring offense in the nation. Star attackman Connor Fields, who is a Tewaaraton Award finalist, was limited to just four points on the afternoon.

The two teams jockeyed for position early in the first quarter. Maryland received early goals from Matt Rambo and Bryce Young, but Albany rebounded to tie the game on tallies from Fields and Adam Osika.
