Maryland guard Dion Wiley has torn meniscus, per report

Maryland basketball sophomore guard Dion Wiley has a torn right meniscus, The Washington Post's Roman Stubbs reports. Wiley will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Dion Wiley has a torn right meniscus. Set to have surgery in Baltimore this week. No word on how long he will be out.

Wiley didn't play in Maryland's season-opening exhibition victory against Southern New Hampshire on Friday night. He'd developed swelling around his right knee after practice on Thursday and had an MRI earlier in the day Friday.
