Maryland goalie Dayne St. Clair to enter MLS Draft

After winning the national championship, Maryland men’s soccer knew it would be losing at least five players to graduation. Forwards Amar Sejdic and Sebastian Elney, midfielders DJ Reeves and Andrew Samuels and defender Chase Gasper are all moving on from the program.

The Terrapins also have two juniors whose futures were less certain. Donovan Pines was expected to leave as a true junior since his pro prospects are high within the D.C. United organization — which owns his rights — and potentially abroad. And redshirt junior goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair finished his season by not conceding a goal throughout the 450 minutes of the NCAA Tournament, posting five straight clean sheets to bring home the title.
