Maryland fans are going to get an up-close look at their newest quarterback addition sooner than they expected.
The Netflix series “QB1: Beyond the Lights” released a trailer for its third season Thursday, which features Terps freshman quarterback Lance LeGendre. It is scheduled to premiere Aug. 16.
The show essentially takes fans behind the scenes with three elite quarterbacks during their senior season of high school. Previous seasons of the series have included Jake Fromm (now at Georgia), Justin Fields (Ohio State) and Tate Martell (Miami).
Along with LeGendre, Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler and Kentucky’s Nik Scalzo will also be profiled.
