Maryland football’s Damian Prince signs free-agent contract with Pittsburgh Steelers

Former Maryland offensive tackle Damian Prince has signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday.

Prince was part of the Steelers’ 60-player rookie minicamp over the weekend, and previously participated in the Colts’ minicamp earlier this month. Maryland’s three-year starter at right tackle went undrafted, but is still getting a serious look as an NFL prospect.

He’ll join Derwin Gray once again, as the two were teammates in College Park for five seasons and anchored the Terps’ offensive tackle spots the last two years.
