The NCAA transfer portal is much like the Matrix—you can only see it if you’re inside of it, and information regarding the portal must be taken with a grain of salt.
But according to InsideMDSports’ Jeff Ermann, senior defensive lineman Adam McLean has entered the portal and could be transferring away from College Park to take his talents elsewhere.
McLean, a former four-star recruit, broke out last season with 36 tackles and a sack across 11 games. The 305-pound roadblock on the interior defensive line played in the Red-White Game in April and looked to be in line for a sizable role this season, but it seems as though he is exploring options elsewhere.
