The 2016 NFL Draft will take place next week, starting Thursday, April 28 and ending on two days later on April 30. Maryland has a few players who will surely be drafted, plus a couple others who could sneak into the late rounds or will at least be fighting for roster spots in training camp. A.J. Hendy was Maryland's highest-rated in-state recruit in the class of 2011, but appears to be on the outside looking in as the NFL Draft gets closer. Maryland's starting free safety in 2015 was one of three seniors who populated the Terps' starting defensive backfield, with standout cornerback Will Likely the only player returning to the team for the 2016 season.
