Wide receivers coach Chris Beatty got a promotion and another title this offseason. His Maryland football bio now lists Beatty as associate head coach in addition to his post as receivers coach.
The Terps haven’t released an official statement with his new role, but both titles are present on his profile and Terrapin Times is reporting the change.
He occupies a role left vacant when Mike London departed to become Howard’s head coach. London was hired as defensive line coach and associate head coach, and DJ Durkin replaced London’s defensive duties with Jimmy Brumbaugh, but left the associate head coach spot open until now.
