Maryland assistant coaches Dave Borbely and Chris Beatty have agreed to two-year contracts and Anthony Tucker and Matt Barnes have agreed to one-year contracts with the university, according to memoranda of understanding obtained by The Baltimore Sun in a public records request.
Borbely's deal to be the team's offensive line coach is worth $340,000 with a $240,000 base salary and $100,000 in supplemental income. Borbely, one of the most experienced coaches on the staff, can earn up to $55,000 in incentives.
Additionally, he'll receive tickets to football, men's basketball and women's basketball games. He will be reimburse up to $15,000 for moving expenses and for up to 30 hotel room nights.
