Maryland blows open close game with seven straight goals to beat Michigan, 13-5

As Michigan’s first-year head coach, though, he didn’t want to be on the losing end of it.

The No. 2 Terps scored the game’s final seven goals to turn a close game into a 13-5 win over the No. 17 Wolverines Saturday in the Big Ten Conference opener for both teams.

With the Wolverines nearly matching the Terps goal for goal until early in the third period, the home crowd in Ann Arbor, Mich.
