Maryland basketball’s Aaron Wiggins enters NBA Draft, will retain eligibility

Maryland men’s basketball junior guard Aaron Wiggins announced on Friday that he entered his name into the NBA draft while maintaining his eligibility.

The 6-foot-6 guard ranked second on the team in points per game, rebounds per game and assists. He averaged 14.5 points, 5.8 boards and had 2.5 assists per game in his junior season earning him an All-Big Ten Team honorable mention.

Wiggins has made an impression on the Maryland record books. His NCAA Tournament three-point field goal percentage (.591) ranks first in program history.
