Maryland Basketball: Terrapins Roll Ohio State

Coming in with their first two-game losing streak, Maryland was looking to prove themselves again with Ohio State in town.

The annual Gold Rush game had the sellout crowd of 17,950 fans buzzing with excitement. But the Terrapins also honored the great Lefty Driesell, by unveiling his banner in the rafters at Xfinity Center. The banner serves as a reminder for his Top 10 ranked finishes, 786 Division 1 coaching wins, and the creation of Midnight Madness.

This year’s team took the floor, sporting the typical starting five of Cowan, Trimble, Huerter, Jackson, and Dodd, all went over to the legendary Driesell for a pregame handshake.
