As Fox 5 Atlanta reports, the Georgia Dome will be imploded on November 20th, 2017 at 7:30 in the morning.
The Dome primarily housed the Atlanta Falcons, but also featured two Super Bowls, WrestleMania XXVII, Olympic Events, and three NCAA Men’s Basketball Championships, including the 2002 National Championship won by Maryland.
The 64-52 Maryland win was attended by 53,406 people, and the scenes will be forever etched into Terrapins basketball history.
