Maryland basketball announces 2019-20 conference opponents

Maryland basketball released its conference opponents for the 2019-20 season Wednesday afternoon, which will feature 20 games for the second consecutive season.

The Terps will play two games — one home and one away — with Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Maryland will also face Michigan, Nebraska and Purdue at Xfinity Center. The team will face Minnesota, Penn State and Wisconsin on the road.

This will be just the second season since joining the conference that Maryland will only have to face Michigan once, and the only matchup between the two teams will be in College Park.
