In about a week, some of the top football prospects from around the country will descend on Oregon for The Opening, a Nike-sponsored annual event that's turned into one of the year's biggest marks on the recruiting calendar. I get to be there this year, covering the vent for SB Nation.
Somewhat unusually there are quite a few names at the event of interest to Maryland fans, including one Dwayne Haskins, the Terrapins' blue-chip QB and landmark of the class. He'll be on Team Super Bad, along with a pair of other Terrapin commitments and some high-value targets.
