Here are all the Maryland basketball non-conference opponents we know so far

With the announcement of Maryland basketball’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup against Virginia, we now know six of the Terps’ 11 non-conference opponents.

In previous years, Maryland has played 13 non-conference games per season, but with the Big Ten’s move to a 20-game conference slate, there are now only 11 non-conference games. Additionally, the Terps will not be partaking in the Gavitt Games this season, meaning they’ll have to replace a built-in Power 6 opponent.

Aside from Virginia, Maryland will open the season against Delaware at home on Nov. 6. That’s the only date we know so far, but the rest should be announced sometime over the summer.
