Greg Manning Jr., a former then-Loyola College men’s basketball guard and the son of former Maryland standout Greg Manning, has joined Terps coach Mark Turgeon’s staff as its video coordinator, a team spokesman confirmed Monday night.
The hiring of Manning, who most recently served as Siena’s lead assistant coach under Jimmy Patsos, will be announced Tuesday morning. Manning was not retained by former Mount St. Mary’s and new Saints coach Jamion Christian after Patsos, the former Maryland assistant and Loyola coach, resigned from the post in April amid allegations of verbal abuse.
